Triumph TR4A Instrument and Switch Restoration
So far so good. Our instruments are in pretty good condition and do not need too much work. We have rechromed all of the bezels. Some of the inner bezels have needed a coat of satin black. That is about it. We have removed a build up of what looks like shellac but it can't be??? Any rubber washer that are past it have been replaced. Some cleaning and polishing has been done on the rear of the instrument backs, holders and mileometer. All glass was deep cleaned, years of build on them both inside and out.
We did have a bit of a disaster on the fuel gauge. Using a window cleaning product on the face of the dial took off all the numbers - be careful!
